The impacts of ICTs on tourism development: International evidence based on a panel quantile approach

Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have transformed the travel leisure sector worldwide, yet until now there are no studies presenting international evidence of different impacts ICTs (i.e., Internet usage, secure servers, mobile cellular subscriptions, high-technology export, communications as well computer, fixed broadband subscriptions) on tourism development traveler arrivals, increased receipts, returns) by considering countries with processes (e.g., high or low quantile). It is possible that diverse non-linear undergoing varying processes.
